Shahrukh Khan was born in 1965 to Muslim parents of Pathan descent in New Delhi, India.He has a sister named Shehnaaz, Wife Gauri Khan and a dog named Chewbacca. He is an Indian film actor as well as a film producer and television host. Often referred to as "The King of Bollywood", Khan has acted in over 70 Hindi films. Shahrukh Khan has won several awards for his outstanding performance in Darr, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,Dil To Pagal Hai and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the 10 franchise teams taking part in the Indian premier league. It was bought by Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment in partnership with Juhi Chawla Mehta and her husband Jay Mehta for a price of USD 75.09 million.
